Facebook Shared Albums Introduced
Facebook Shared Albums
Facebook Shared Albums were just released and will slowly make there way to everyone. A shared album is created by someone who can then invite others to upload photos to that album. You can invite up to 50 friends to your album, with each member allowed to upload 200 photos each. If you are the album owner, you can control features like friends being able to invite to the album, public or private album, delete photos, and edit to name a few. Facebook albums are only available to personal profiles right now, but will be coming to pages soon.
As this feature expands and opens up to pages, it will become important for business owners to jump on board. You can invite all your employees to upload photos to certain albums depending on what they do. For example, you can form a company portfolio where they can come in and add photos of their work! This way instead of the photos being all over the place, they are centralized in one album!
This feature will be important to social media as it adds another opportunity for people to interact on social media. Facebook is always striving to stay ahead of there competition and bring everyone that much closer to one another, and this is one way they are doing that.
All you have to do to create a shared album is go into an album you have created, click make shared album in the top left corner, choose your contributors and select an audience, and click save!
